Churches often sing the same song differently!

It is the same words and chords but maybe the metre is slightly different or emphasis placed on different words – but it is the same song.

In church life we need to always remind ourselves that we are singing the same song. We may sing it a bit differently from the next person but as long as the words and chords are the same it is the same song we are singing. We must never let a moment’s disharmony (a bum note) affect the whole piece of music.
