The waters stirred John 5:4
When the waters stirred a time of change was available for one who was ready, watching and intending to grasp that opportunity. It was a “Count me in” scenario with no hesitation. I imagine that those who gathered at the pool were vigilant for any stirring.
Do you sense a stirring?
Is there something happening on the horizon – a beginning, a small start but a start nevertheless, a change in the air, a softening – as if a closed, locked and bolted door is beginning to creak at the joints as the first glint of light squeezes through the open crack?
Stirrings
Like breathing in possibilities
Like an infusion of energy
Like an anticipated dawning of a new day
New hope, new time, new possibilities just perceptible in view
Like the tiny cloud with the promise of rain
Stirrings
