Jesus held His arms out to the Philadelphian church. “I like the name of your city,” He said. “It means ‘one who loves his brother.’

I am pleased with you. You have protected my Word and I will protect you and give you opportunities for mission. Look at the open doors, the windows of opportunity that I am giving you. They are opening in all directions and no-one will be able to shut them.

Doors to people’s hearts are opening – Doors into ministry that have previously been shut; Doors into your community through means that you did not expect; Doors into other countries where you will have influence; Doors into political arenas that have never before been accessible.

You are a missionary centre. From you will Godly culture and Godly language spread.”
